The VERUS ENGINEERING A0458A Cold Air Intake Duct Kit is designed to improve intake air temperature management on the Toyota Supra (Mk5) by channeling cooler ambient air directly to the factory intake box. Inspired by the GT4 Supra, this duct addresses elevated under-hood temperatures commonly observed during aggressive street driving and track use. By supplying pressurized, cooler airflow before the turbocharger, the system helps reduce heat soak and supports more consistent engine performance.

During on-track testing, intake air temperatures ahead of the turbocharger were observed to be approximately 25–30 degrees Fahrenheit above ambient. The carbon fiber intake duct was developed to mitigate this temperature increase by improving airflow efficiency within the confined engine bay. The result is a street-legal solution that enhances thermal control without compromising factory integration.
