The VERUS ENGINEERING A0558A-BLU Air Oil Separator Kit is engineered to prevent oil vapors from entering the intake system of the Honda Civic Type R (FK8) during high-load and performance driving. As engine output increases, the factory PCV and CCV systems can become overwhelmed, allowing oil vapor to contaminate the intake tract and negatively affect performance and long-term reliability.

This air oil separator is designed to separate oil from crankcase gases before they are recirculated into the intake system. By keeping oil out of the intake, the system helps preserve effective octane levels, reduce the likelihood of detonation, and limit carbon buildup. The AOS features four 5-micron coalescent filters, internal baffling, and stainless steel mesh to provide high-efficiency oil separation while maintaining proper crankcase ventilation. An integrated drain plug simplifies servicing, making the system suitable for frequently driven vehicles. Optional coolant add-on components are available for further system customization.
